Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive space
where clients can find insights, forge meaningful connections and navigate challenges.

Meet Our Therapists

"Depression can feel like a heavy cloud that lingers, making everything seem darker and harder to navigate. Even though no one else can see it, its presence is constant. It creates a sense of isolation that makes it difficult to engage in the things you would normally enjoy. It’s not just feeling sad; it’s feeling disconnected from yourself and the world around you."- Angelique Kinley, MA in Mental Health Counseling

What does Depression feel like?
SOG asks:

Life gets heavy sometimes. You wake up feeling like there’s a weight on your chest, or like your mind won’t slow down long enough to catch a break. Maybe you’re doing everything “right” but still feel stuck, exhausted, or just not yourself. I get it. That’s why I do this work, to give people a space where they don’t have to carry it all alone.

I’m not the kind of therapist who sits back and nods or throws generic advice at you. Therapy with me is a conversation, a collaboration. Some days, that means digging into the patterns that are keeping you stuck; other days, it’s just about having a space to breathe and process without judgment. We’ll figure out what’s working, what’s not, and how to build a way forward that actually feels doable.

I take a real-world approach to healing. One that’s practical, down-to-earth, and tailored to you. That might mean working on breaking the cycle of overthinking, finding ways to make daily life feel less overwhelming, or learning how to quiet that inner voice that says you’re not enough. It’s about small, intentional shifts that add up to real change.

At the end of the day, I want you to feel safe being exactly who you are, without fear of being judged, dismissed, or misunderstood

Cassie Herring

MA in Marriage and Family Therapy

Hi, I am Cassie! From a young age, I knew I wanted to help people feel seen, heard, and feel lighter after they've interacted with me. I want to create a space where others can be their authentic selves, free from judgment or societal pressures. I am here to provide a space where individuals, families, and couples can leave behind their burdens, breathe freely, and speak openly without fear of judgment while having the support to do so. The balance of creativity and conscientiousness informs my approach to therapy.

Being on the other side of the couch gives you a deeper, more personal understanding of the therapeutic process, which I feel makes me a more compassionate and effective therapist. Personal experiences, alongside my extensive training, fuels my unwavering belief that therapy can work—and I’ve seen it transform lives.

I deeply understand the importance of authenticity in therapy. I listen with curiosity, and I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust, engagement, and genuine care. To me, therapy is about more than just techniques; it’s about connection.

I primarily work with individuals, couples, and families.

What do you think would benefit the mental health field?
SOG asks:

I firmly believe the mental health field would benefit if all therapists experienced therapy themselves. Sitting on the "other side of the couch" gives a unique and valuable perspective, deepening empathy and faith in the process. It’s not just a professional commitment; it’s a personal one. Therapy works, and I’ve seen it for myself.

Sophia Gause

MA in Counseling (she/her)

Hi there, I’m Sophia and I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to emotional well-being. I believe that therapy should be a personalized and collaborative experience that is tailored to your unique needs and goals. Whether you're adjusting to a new life phase or simply feeling stuck in how you’re handling everyday stress; my goal is to help you understand your emotions and find healthier ways to cope. I believe everyone has the strength to grow and make lasting change. Join me in creating a space where the pressure is taken off of you in therapy and you can show up, unapologetically you.

SOG asks:
What do you think is important in the therapeutic relationship?

Therapy should evolve with the client as they grow and progress, otherwise, the client may feel stuck or misunderstood. I believe the most important part of positive therapeutic outcomes is a strong therapeutic relationship, and research has described this as well."

Elena Narsingh

 MSW (she/her)

I am a mom, daughter, sister, and friend—roles that deeply shape who I am and how I approach life and work. Growing up, I often struggled to express how I felt, not knowing how or even what I felt. I tried to guide myself, but I unknowingly learned patterns that didn’t always serve me. It’s those experiences that inspired me to become the guide I once needed—to be a compass for others on their healing journey.

As a therapist, I believe in meeting people where they are. My clients often say they feel a sense of comfort and safety with me. They trust that I won’t judge them or simply tell them what they want to hear. Instead, I help them confront challenges, let go of pain, and embrace their enhanced selves with forgiveness and acceptance. I don’t claim to have all the answers. Sometimes, we find those answers together.

Therapy isn’t always easy. Sometimes external factors like relationships, environments, or even life circumstances can slow progress. Depression can feel like a heavy fog, draining your energy for the things you once loved. Anxiety can feel like a restless current running through your body, stealing your peace. Life is undeniably hard when it feels like all you have is yourself. My goal is to ensure you don’t feel alone in this process. I draw from evidence based theories to support the change process and the release of difficult symptoms.

In our work together, I hope to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood.

I primarily work with teens and adults.

"The mental health field would be so much better if therapists prioritized building real, authentic connections with their clients before diving into the heavy stuff. It's not just about asking surface-level questions or following a script—it’s about taking the time to truly understand where someone is coming from, their story, and what matters to them." -Elena

What would make the mental health field better?
SOG asks:

"I am able to connect with those who are suffering through the effects of things that happened to them , I feel that I am able to connect with clients on a real level. Mental Health symptoms are hard on someone who is trying to go through a “normal” life as an employee or employer, parent, spouse, friend, citizen, etc and sometimes can feel like a huge weight to on the body and mind. I want to provide some relief from this hardship and walk beside my client's lives together as an empathetic therapist." -Helen Yang, MSW

Why do your clients connect with you?
SOG asks:

I understand that seeking therapy can be a vulnerable and courageous step towards personal growth. I am here to support you every step of the way. My approach is rooted in respect, acceptance, and unconditional positive regard for each individual I work with. Your experiences, values, and perspectives will be honored. I strive to create a personalized therapeutic journey tailored to the specific needs of each client I work with.

Hello, I'm Helen. I bring my clients extensive training in various therapeutic methods and a passion for helping others. I provide a non-judgmental space where your voice is heard, understood, and valued.

I integrate evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-based approaches. I use methods that empower you to develop practical strategies, gain insight, and cultivate resilience, enabling you to overcome obstacles and thrive in your personal and professional life. Taking the courageous step to seek support can be challenging, yet it's a decision that holds immense value. By reaching out, you're not only investing in yourself but also empowering me to step up and assist you on your journey.

"Anxiety feels like a constant buzz underneath the skin. Tight chest, mind whirring, spiralling into “what ifs” and all of the things that aren’t feeling right. It can look different for everyone, but the baseline is that it doesn’t feel good. I help treat anxiety by addressing the root causes and helping clients resolve the underlying issues within anxiety rather than only treating the symptoms for." -Katie Boggs, MA in Art Therapy & Counseling

What do you think anxiety feels like and how could you help anxiety symptoms?

"Whether grappling with specific fears, heart-pounding panic, bodily pain, or overwhelming angst, dread, and turmoil, we often find ourselves unsettled and very uncomfortable when experiencing the symptoms of anxiety. Sometimes anxiety also feels like a big crash of energy and wanting to hide in bed for the day. Anxiety can also feel like we're frozen and struggling to take action or make decisions. The symptoms can present differently for everyone; however, it's safe to say that we can all agree that anxiety is not enjoyable." -Melayna Schiff, PhD, MSW

What does anxiety feel like?
SOG asks:

A fundamental aspect of my personality and therapeutic approach is that I foster an inclusive and accepting environment for all my clients and their diverse experiences. Therapy is a place to voice what feels unspeakable in day to day life and where I can assist you with finding safety, joy, and peace.

I'm all about creating a down-to-earth, accepting space where you can be yourself. I dive deep into understanding your life because I believe that's the key to supporting you on the path to your most authentic self.

I see therapy as a dynamic practice, a bit like a gardener using various tools to nurture plant growth. In our sessions, I leverage a range of therapeutic approaches as tools to help you enhance your life. Just like a gardener tailors tools to a plant's specific needs, different therapeutic approaches serve different purposes. What works for you at one point in time might not be as effective at another, or for someone else. It's all about finding the right tools for your unique journey. Together, let's explore and discover the approaches that best nurture your personal growth and well-being

I connect with clients because I understand the difficulties of navigating life when our inner and outer worlds feel like a constant battleground. Our minds are not straightforward. Some days, emotions like hopelessness and loneliness can make us feel terrible, and other days the same feelings are comforting. We are often very hard on ourselves, and it's normal to arrive at the first session feeling crushed by the pressures from family, society, and life.

I foster a genuine and trusting therapeutic relationship. Therapy with me is an environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and vulnerabilities - sprinkled in with humor and honesty when necessary.

I bring equity, independence, and resilience to every client session. I also believe that true healing comes from a deeper understanding of the cultural, societal, and personal factors that impact a person's life. I have significant experience treating anxiety, depression, codependency, and eating disorders.

"I would describe depression as a very counteractive experience. Some days the loneliness and depressive symptoms are the worst feelings, and other days the feeling of loneliness and depressive symptoms are the comfort. I help my clients heal from depression by exploring when the symptoms started, how they got there, and why they're still here. Then we work together to take small manageable steps and find the lost insights we need to build the freedom from depression that we've been searching for." -Leona Bates, LCSW

I commonly use trauma-informed interventions including CBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, and some DBT skills, as my modalities of treatment since these interventions prove to be effective.

Change begins with awareness, and therapy is a journey of exploration together. It's remarkable how even small changes can enrich our lives and relationships, often beyond what we initially realize. Through our collaborative efforts, therapy is the space to dive into your inner self and relationships, striving for stability and self-fulfillment as our ultimate goals.

I have strong passion for mentoring and supporting therapists on their path. The learning never stops as a therapist, and I am happy to be a supportive clinician in that learning process.

"A good therapist is someone who listens deeply without judgment and creates a safe space where clients feel understood. It's not just about techniques or tools, but about building a genuine connection where clients feel comfortable being themselves. Experience matters, of course, but being real, approachable, and present for your clients makes all the difference in their journey of change." - Rhiannon Price, LCSW
